Description Bursting with vitamins and minerals. Hand-harvested Irish Moss (also called Carrageen) is primarily used as a vegan alternative to gelatin, a thickener for soups, stews and sauces. Air dried and sun bleached, there is no flavour to it and it has a mildly sweet smell. Pouches are plastic free and use biodegradable ink. Pouches contain only paper and are recyclable and compostable.
